Transat is now offering Canadian travellers two new hotels on Cayo Cruz, an island off Cuba’s northern coast less than an hour from Cayo Coco airport.
Known for its magnificent beaches, often likened to those of Cayo Largo, and as a location for exceptional sport fishing, Cayo Cruz offers an ideal combination of relaxation and exploration. It is located under two hours from Camagüey, capital of the province of the same name, which features vibrant history and cultural activities. Transat is also offering a one-day excursion to the city of Camagüey from Cayo Cruz.
Transat is offering packages in two recently built 4.5-star hotels in Cayo Cruz. The Valentin Cayo Cruz (pictured) is an adults-only establishment that features 546 deluxe rooms and facilities in a cleanly designed layout with five restaurants and three pools. For its part, the Hotel Marina & Spa Cayo Cruz is a boutique hotel featuring modern décor, 60 spacious rooms and a choice location near the marina.
Cayo Cruz will be accessible with Air Transat this winter via direct flight to Cayo Coco from Montreal (four flights weekly), Quebec City (two flights weekly), Toronto (four flights weekly), as well as Ottawa, Hamilton and Halifax (all three one flight weekly).
As part of its ongoing commitment to travel agents, Insight Vacations has announced the relaunch of its eLearning platform with enhanced functionality, ease of access and an improved user experience.
Ensuring agents receive the education and training they deserve is of utmost importance for the brand, and, as such, Insight has revamped and updated its eLearning platform, addressing both the evolution of the brand and agent feedback.
The Insight Specialist program allows the brand to share its passion for travel with its community of partners by offering new educational opportunities as agents look to offer premium guided journeys to clients and develop stronger sales, as well as increase their earnings.
By completing the Insight Specialist Levels, agents will become eligible for fam trips and discounts on Insight’s journeys. Further, agents are encouraged to remind clients of the 2020 Preview collection with the Preview Price Guarantee to secure 2020 journeys at 2019 prices.
“We know that travel advisors who are set up for success will offer the best recommendations, ensuring client satisfaction and returning guests with our new and exciting eLearning program,” said Brad Ford, president of Insight Vacations Canada. “An Insight Vacations client is a client for life, with repeat rates of over 40%, and our hope is to equip all of our valuable Travel Advisors with the in-depth knowledge and tools to effectively sell our magical and personal journeys.”
The Insight Specialist eLearning program is divided into three sections – Bronze, Silver and Gold – and agents can access the first Bronze level of training with modules covering a fundamental overview of the brand, the Insight Difference, comprehensive information on Insight’s target audience, tools for selling the journeys, and Insight Cares, consisting of itineraries offering unique experiences that speak to the collective commitment to preserve the cultures, traditions and arts of the communities Insight visits.
The Silver Level will be available at a later date and will cover Insight’s main Unique Selling Points, while the Gold Level will delve deeper into Insight’s brochure and destinations offered through its magical journeys.
