Sail into 2021 with Uniworld

Uniworld University, the agent training program for Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, has launched its latest course educating travel advisors on what’s new in 2021.

Travel advisors will learn the ins-and-outs of Uniworld’s updates for 2021 including a new rail itinerary and more dates for the popular new Peruvian Amazon itineraries, as well as the new health and sanitation protocol that will go into effect as soon as Uniworld resumes cruising.

“Next year is already proving to be a very successful year for us. We’re seeing that our guests still want to travel, and so we want to prepare our travel advisors with the most comprehensive tools to stay up-to-date with our offerings,” says Ellen Bettridge, President & CEO of Uniworld. “Every year, we focus on elevating the standards of the river cruising industry, and in 2021 we are not only bringing new itineraries and destinations, but we’re also introducing an entirely new way to travel with Uniworld. Our advisors are such an imperative part of our business, and we want to ensure that they understand Uniworld’s points of difference and all of the exciting things to come for our brand.”

What’s New for 2021:

  • Cruise & Rail: Uniworld is partnering with The Golden Eagle Danube Express to launch a whole new way to travel, debuting July 30, 2021. The luxury train trip complements the Uniworld experience perfectly on the newly transformed S.S. La Venezia, offering the ability to see multiple destinations in an efficient, comfortable and stylish manner without having to pack up between each town. Better yet, everything is included. The itineraries, Cruise & Rail: Venice & The Swiss Alps and Cruise & Rail: Milan, Venice & The Swiss Alps, will have pre and post-cruise options: two nights in Lugano and Lake Como that includes accommodations, tours, and all transportation.
  • Classic Germany & Amsterdam: Debuting on April 30, 2021 Uniworld’s new Classic Germany & Amsterdam sails for eight days from Amsterdam to Nuremberg on the River Princess. This itinerary includes even more active offshore excursions like a treetop hike at Steigerwald Nature Reserve in Bamberg and a hike to Festund Marienberg, perched on a hilltop high above the city of Würzburg.
  • Rhine, Main & Danube Discovery: Debuting April 30, 2021 Uniworld’s Rhine, Main & Danube Discovery is a 15-day sailing from Amsterdam to Vienna on the River Princess. Guests will cruise along the most scenic parts of the three rivers and take part in sampling local specialties from crisp Rieslings to brandy spiked Rüdesheimer coffee. This will be a combination of the Authentic Danube and Classic Germany & Amsterdam itineraries.
  • Peruvian Amazon: With the recently launched Peruvian Amazon sailings being in such high demand, Uniworld has added additional itineraries available to book for 2021. On the 15-day Peruvian Amazon & Machu Picchu Exploration guests spend seven nights onboard the Aria Amazon, dine on five-star cuisine sourced fresh from the rainforest, and stay in one of just 16 suites onboard, each with floor-to-ceiling windows.
