By Bob Mowat /  October 21, 2019

Beach Tours on Horseback
There is no better way to see the beaches of St. Lucie – than on the back of a horse. This is the only place in south Florida where visitors can ride a horse on the beach. This slow-paced, gentle ride down a Fort Pierce’s natural, isolated sandy shoreline will stay in the vacation memory banks forever. (https://visitstlucie.com/horseback-riding)

Free and Beautiful Beaches
Are you looking for the perfect beach getaway with your client? Look no more – come to St. Lucie where you will find 21 miles of uncrowded and pristine beaches where nearly half the coastline is public preservation – a rare characteristic for a South Florida beach destination.

Interesting fact, visitors enjoy more public beach access points per square mile than any other coastal community in Florida. Not to mention, parking and admission are free with the exception of the Florida State Park beaches. Many of the beaches have the amenities for an entire day at the beach, including restrooms, showers, picnic pavilions and more.

National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum
The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated solely to preserving the history of the U.S. Navy SEALs and their predecessors. The museum is located on North Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce, once the training grounds of the original Naval Combat Demolition Units and Underwater Demolition Team during World War II.

During this time, they were known as the Frogmen. This state-of-the-art museum features interactive exhibits, retired air and water craft, rare artifacts and an onsite training obstacle course to see if you can put your Navy SEAL skills to the test.
