Located on Cancun’s resort strip, the Melody Maker Cancun combines the lifestyle and excitement of a beachfront hotel, world-class entertainment and fine dining with the amenities of a luxury resort, creating an unparalleled “Vegas-meets-Cancun” experience.
The property, which opened in December, features lavish guest rooms, suites and exclusive, oceanfront villas boasting sparkling, turquoise blue waterfront views of the Caribbean Sea or the Nichupté Lagoon.
Javier Blanco, CEO of Melody Maker Hotels, said, “As Mexico continues to heat up, Cancun is experiencing a surge of growth and high demand by millennials and the global travel community.”
He pointed out that, “A few years ago, we saw the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind resort that would appeal to each of these travellers and become the vanguard leaders of this hotel model.”
The 283,000-square-foot, all-inclusive resort features 679 guest rooms and suites, many with floor-to-ceiling French balconies; and beachfront villas, several with private infinity pools.
In-room amenities include bathrobes and slippers, iron and ironing board, smart HDTV, minibar, A/C, electronic safety deposit box, sumptuous organic bath products, hair dryer, vanity mirror, and more.
Pablo Alvarez Sastre, product and brand manager at Melody Maker, said, “At Melody Maker Hotels, we believe it’s better to live life than to dream it. Our hotel concept aims to provide guests with quality, ever-lasting experiences through our premier entertainment and programming that will keep them wanting and returning for more.”
Named after the iconic British weekly music magazine, Melody Maker, the property is billed as the world’s premier multi-sensory hotel and concert venue featuring the world’s largest video projection mapping technology, sitting at 54,000 square feet.
First-of-its-kind, Melody Maker offers its guests complimentary entry to concerts during hotel stays to some of the world’s top entertainers including Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Dillon Francis, Elrow, Maná, Paris Hilton, Steve Aoki, Tiësto and many more.
The resort features five restaurants serving global cuisine including Social International Market with live serving stations, Botánico offering Asian cuisine, Talavera Mexican Restaurant, Melody Maker Restaurant featuring the chef’s daily four-course set menu, and the oceanfront Delirio Beach House serving fresh Mediterranean fare.
Additionally, the resort offers an extensive room service menu, a pool menu at Delirio Day Club and a lush Champagne Bar and Nespresso Coffee Bar. And the property will soon be opening an exclusive Rooftop Bar, open to visitors and locals alike.
The resort also features a 24-hour, state-of-the-art fitness center, a spa, oceanfront yoga, beachside boot camp, water aerobics (AQUAGYM), and health-focused dining options such as locally-sourced produce, fresh juices, and more.
For those headed to Cancun for meetings, the Melody Maker currently offers 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor flexible meeting and event space that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. The resort offers various wedding, meeting and bachelor and bachelorette packages.
In May, the hotel will also open a Convention Center, expanding Melody Maker’s event space to more than 33,000-square feet.
The property is walking distance to major shopping centers including La Isla Shopping Mall and Fashion Avenue, as it is centrally located in Cancún’s Hotel Zone, only a 15-minute drive to Cancun’s International Airport and 20 minutes to downtown.
