A roundup of the latest memorable hotel and resort openings around the world.

TRS Ibiza Hotel

Palladium Hotel Group has launched the first TRS branded hotel in Europe. The brand new TRS Ibiza Hotel is the first premium all-inclusive adult-only hotel on the island.

“With the desire to always create differentiated products, at TRS Ibiza Hotel, the type of service, gastronomy, spa-wellness, design, and entertainment combine to form a special concept of adults-only-luxury,” says Jesús Sobrino, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group said. “What really sets us apart are the partnerships we have formed with successful restaurant and entertainment concepts in a variety of locations in Ibiza. This means we are able to offer our ‘The Signature Level’ guests the option to take advantage of their all-inclusive package outside of the hotel itself. We are convinced that TRS Ibiza Hotel is going to become a really key destination for visitors and residents in a very short time.”

For example, The Signature Level gives guests access to restaurants and well-known venues on the island. The new property also offers a range of authentic luxury concepts such as personal butler service and personalizations like selecting the type of pillow, the coffee capsules, the drinks available in their room and other leisure preferences.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya

Set to open in December, bookings are now open for Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. The adults-only property is located in a secluded region of Riviera Maya, with easy access to the Cancun International Airport and only six miles from Playa del Carmen. The 291-suite resort resembles a modern hacienda, sitting on a long stretch of pure white sand beach.

“We are excited to, once again, partner with Hyatt and expand our footprint in Mexico’s Riviera Maya region,” says Fernando Mulet, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer, Playa Hotels & Resorts. “From inception more than nine years ago in Cancun, the Hyatt Zilara experience has been the standard-bearer for what an all-inclusive experience could be and should be for adult guests.”

The resort will be home to nine restaurants, bars & lounges; a 13,659 sq. ft. Zen Spa; live music and culturally-inspired nightly shows; and much more.

Alila Kothaifaru Maldives

Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, a private island retreat located in the picturesque Raa Atoll at the northern edge of the Maldives, is now open. The all-pool-villa resort is located in a relatively untouched corner of the archipelago renowned for its abundant marine life.

“We are delighted to add this beautiful resort in the Maldives to our growing Alila portfolio, with new Alila hotels opening in sought-after destinations such as Suzhou and Shanghai in China and Nha Trang in Vietnam in the future,” says David Udell, group president, Asia-Pacific, Hyatt.

Housed on a 27.6 acre island, Alila Kothaifaru Maldives can be reached via a 45-minute seaplane journey from Malé. As one of the deeper atolls in the archipelago, the Raa Atoll offers abundant snorkeling and diving options to discover its rich marine life, from colourful corals to manta rays and sharks. The resort offers easy access to the famous Hanifaru Bay UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve and is close to Vaadhoo Island, one of the best spots to witness the spectacular ‘Sea of Stars’ phenomenon.

Alila Kothaifaru Maldives offers 80 pool villas, of which 44 are along the beach and 36 are perched overwater with direct access to the sea.
