What’s your travel style? History-buff, adrenaline junkie, leisure

Why did you choose to study travel & tourism: I wanted to travel more and visit new countries. Moreover, I love talking about travel and the storytelling aspect of it. Working in travel and tourism also means needing to have work, life, and travel balance.

What is your greatest professional strength? Having a very strong work ethic.

What’s your dream travel & tourism job? My dream job is working in the luxury travel industry.

What’s the most exciting trend in travel right now and why? All-inclusive luxury travel. 

What is one thing you can’t travel without? My neck pillow and my headphones.

How many countries have you visited? Three.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself working in the luxury travel planning industry and owning my own business in ten years.

Name your favourite travel experience so far? Living in a palace in Rajasthan, India.

What’s on your travel bucket list? Mykonos, Greece and Marrakesh, Morocco. 

Name your greatest achievement so far? Finishing my program at BCIT and securing an internship with a DMO.

What’s the best OR worst piece of travel advice you’ve received? The best advice I got was to adjust your sleep schedule to match the country you are travelling to a day before leaving. This way, when you reach your destination, you are not jet-lagged.

What is one positive and lasting outcome the pandemic will have on the travel industry? Travellers will be more vigilant regarding the changes and restrictions imposed by a particular country. Similarly, packaged tours and booking through a travel agent might become more popular.
