Take a Digital Tour of “Gilded Age” National Landmark, Flagler Museum

When it was completed in 1902, Whitehall, Henry Flagler’s Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was hailed by the New York Herald as “more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world.” A National Historic Landmark, the Flagler Museum is a prominent tourist attraction and flagship for guided tours, changing exhibits, and special programs.

Despite the current climate, visitors from around the globe can still experience the grandeur of the Gilded Age, by way of virtual tours, and learn about the history of Whitehall and Henry Flagler by listening to descriptions of rooms, objects, and Gilded Age life narrated by the Education Director, Chief Curator, and Executive Director.

“Users can download the free Flagler Museum app, or simply visit www.FlaglerMuseum.us, which includes an orientation video, audio tour, floor plans, images, events calendar and more.
