Company has properties in Cancun and Tulum
Oasis Hotels & Resorts is cheerfully placing the welcome mat out for a combination of leisure groups, destination wedding participants, MICE groups and spring break groups at its Mexican retreats.
And the company is inviting those in those groups to save money by booking quickly.
“With the phenomenal Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounted rates for Canadian tour operators for 2024/2025, travel agents are encouraged to book before the booking deadline of Dec. 8 for groups and individual travellers,” says Pam Bassett, Oasis’ Canadian BDM.
The Spanish company, which has seven hotels in Cancun and two in Tulum, continues to happily host spring break/youth travel groups during February and March, “specifically at the Grand Oasis Cancun as long as there is one 18 year old checking in to each room,” Bassett reports. “During these two months, special events and parties are put on especially for this demographic.”
Bassett says, “we are very well known for spring break but also have special pre-planned packages for special events, like birthdays, bachelor/bachelorettes,” she continues.
The Grand Oasis Cancun has over 1,200 rooms, and standard rooms that can sleep four are popular with young visitors.
Almost 500 rooms are found at The Pyramid Cancun, which is located within the same resort complex and is for those looking for more upscale amenities.
“Our Groups Free Adult policy is one of the best in the market — for every 11 adult passengers, a group gets one free adult to a maximum of four free adults,” Bassett reports.
Part of the all-inclusive plan at select resorts are “our six award-winning restaurants,” she adds.
The more family oriented hotels — the Sens Cancun, Grand Oasis Palm and Oasis Palm All Inclusive hotels — located next to each other and in the north end of the hotel zone — share what Bassett labels a “fantastic kids club for families with kids 3 to 12 years old.”
And that, Bassett says, underscores how Oasis is catering to a broad section of the travelling public, with the company having five all-inclusives in Cancun and two all-inclusives in Tulum.
The Tulum resorts were leased to AMResorts for several years under the Sunscape brand and recently reclaimed by Oasis Hotels and are now under the Grand Oasis Tulum Riviera & The Sens Tulum Riviera names.
“These two hotels are for those travellers seeking quiet, rest & relaxation,” Bassett reports.
Oasis also has two EP plan hotels in Cancun, which Bassett says attract both business travellers and those staying in Cancun who prefer to explore the city, trying some of its many restaurants and bars.
The Cancun hotels are about 20 minutes from Cancun’s airport.
