Milestone for Victory Cruise Lines
September 20, 2019

It was a milestone for Victory Cruise Lines as it held a successful “Keel Laying Ceremony” for the new M/V Ocean Victory.

Operated by American Queen Steamboat Company, Victory Cruise Lines had a successful inaugural year cruising the Great Lakes and American Borderlands and will bring that same high standard of cruising to British Columbia and Alaska with the Ocean Victory in the spring of 2021.

Ocean Victory is Sunstone Ships’ third next-generation, INFINITY Class Vessel, marrying European design and quality with Chinese ship building efficiency. The INFINITY-class delivers cutting-edge design with safe and efficient operation mechanisms such as: Equipped with Safe Return to Port, Dynamic Positioning and Zero Speed Stabilizers; Ice Class 1A, Polar Code 6; and the X-Bow by Ulstein Design & Solutions.

The ship is 104 metres long, 18 metres wide with a draft of 5.1 metres. It has a passenger capacity of 200 and crew of between 85 and 115.

Features include a swimming pool, bar and restaurants, lounges, gym and spa. Ocean Victory will offer explorers an up-close look at the beauty of British Columbia and Alaska both on board and with immersive shore excursions.
