Resort is the only 100% adults-only property in the area

Salvador Ramos isn’t kidding when he says his Punta Mita, Mexico, resort provides guests stays in which they won’t encounter kids.

The Marival Armony Luxury Resort & Suites — found in the upscale Puerto Vallarta-area retreat of Punta Mita — decided to go the adults-only route, setting it apart from other area properties.

“We are the only 100% adults-only property in the area. Other hotels have adult-only sections, but many of the restaurants or common areas are shared with family sections,” reports Ramos, vice president of sales and marketing for the Marival Group, which has three regional resorts and a tour company.

And Ramos continues that Punta Mita itself is a selling point while conceding it has a lower profile than many Pacific Mexico destinations.

“Punta de Mita is the up-and-coming luxury destination in Mexico,” Ramos states. “The outstanding views of the Sierra Madre Occidental (Mountains), the lush jungle surroundings, and its prime location, make it an excellent destination for those looking for a mix of privacy and relaxation. Its proximity to Sayulita and San Pancho (magical beach towns) allows our guests to truly experience the magic of México.

“(And) Playa Destiladeras is known as the best beach in the Bahia de Banderas region. It has natural barriers on both sides that allow our guests to enjoy privacy in the 1.8-km beach extension.”

Marival Armony features include the Melange World Spa, which offers experiences inspired by nine countries that the resort says “transport our guests to new heights of relaxation.”

Ramos also praises the resort for capitalizing on its setting and setup as well, saying it’s unique.

“The beauty of the surroundings and the way that the hotel is constructed has broken with the typical idea that the ocean view rooms are necessarily the best,” he says. “Our most popular rooms have breathtaking views of the nearby ravine, and swim-up pools that have become fan favourites.”

Ramos labels the Marival Group a pioneer in Mexico’s all-inclusive scene, having more than 35 years of experience.

“Our gourmet concept has set us apart in the Bahia de Banderas area, with a perfect balance between Mexican flavours and international cuisine,” he continues. “You could say that, as a family-owned company, it is a family tradition to provide the best dining experience for our guests.”

Ramos considers Marival Armony a “perfect blend between casual and luxury. We offer the perfect setting for a fashionable beach getaway, along with upscale wine and dining options.”

He also says that being in Punta Mita — rather than higher-profile Pacific Coast destinations such as Puerto Vallarta or Acapulco — serves his resort well.

“For us, this is an advantage. We have the element of surprise on our side, and this allows us to wow our guests with much more than they expect,” he adds. “This includes the beauty of the destinations, along with outstanding service and a resort that vibes more like a boutique hotel.

“We would love to invite Canadian travellers to explore the true  Mexico by visiting this unique location. Fall in love with the views, allow us to pamper you with our friendly service, and get to know a destination that will end up as one of your favourite spots for a beach getaway. Marival Armony is located at the epicentre of this vibrant and colourful destination.”
