Kissimmee is eager to welcome back Canadian travellers

A look at what awaits clients in Kissimmee

Close to 400 travel advisors and industry partners registered for a three-day travel-themed adventure with Experience Kissimmee from June 21-23.

“The virtual fam has been months in the making and we couldn’t have timed it any better with the government’s announcement on the easing of travel restrictions for fully vaccinated Canadians and only a matter of time before the land borders are reopened to the drive market,” Denise Graham, account manager for Experience Kissimmee tells Travel Courier. “Future vacations will, of course, require more planning and preparation than ever before. We want to make sure when the time is right for vacationers to return that advisors have the tools they need to help their clients feel safe, prepared and most of all really enjoy their time with us.”

Known for being a convenient drive from the likes of Universal Studios and Walt Disney World Resort, Kissimmee is positioning itself as an ideal family-friendly vacation.

“What better place to re-connect with family post-pandemic than Kissimmee? We have so much to offer from the world-famous theme parks to a number of nature-based and outdoor activities, plus a variety of accommodations to suit every family size and style,” Graham says. “Our vacation home rental product is ideal for multi-generational families looking for all the comforts, conveniences and security of a home-away-from-home while still being close to all of the area attractions, allowing visitors to do as little or as much as they like at their own pace.”

Graham reports that Air Canada and WestJet flights into Orlando International Airport have resumed and Air Transat and Sunwing are set to return later this fall. In addition, Swoop recently announced flights into Orlando’s Sanford Airport from Toronto, Hamilton & Edmonton.

“Kissimmee is open and ready for Canadians to return,” she says.
