From stunning beachfront locations to a plethora of culinary options, there are certain things travellers have come to expect at all inclusive resorts. But at Couples Resorts, there are notably a few things travellers actually won’t find.

“At our four legendary oceanfront resorts, you will find that virtually everything is included. Yet, there are still a few things you won’t find here — no kids, no singles, and no distractions,” Pauline Pigott, vice president of sales, North America at Couples Resorts, tells Travel Courier. “Here, surrounded by Jamaica’s beauty, it’s easy to relax, reconnect, and recharge amid the tropical splendour.”

For those who are not yet that familiar with the brand, Couples Resorts has had a presence in Jamaica for 45 years. By offering larger luxury accommodations and personalized service, the properties aim to immerse travellers into the destination through authentic experiences and programming.

“Couples Resorts sets itself apart with its four iconic Jamaican properties—Couples Tower Isle, Couples Sans Souci, Couples Swept Away, and Couples Negril—each reflecting the pioneering spirit of Abe Issa, the father of Jamaican tourism,” she says. “With a legacy spanning over four decades, our resorts stand as beacons of excellence, harmoniously blending local inspiration with impeccable service.”

At each of the four properties, clients can take advantage of 24-hour gourmet dining, unlimited premium drinks, and activities including complimentary excursions to iconic spots across the island, alongside unlimited scuba diving, watersports, spa treatments, and more.

“Travel advisors are extremely important to the success of our business at Couples Resorts. We want to make it easy for you to book your clients’ vacations and earn rewards on every booking,” she reveals. “Our Couples Preferred Travel Agent program offers a 15% commission and a $10 per night cash bonus for every night booked directly with Couples. Plus, agents will also receive one free night for every seven nights booked, so you can experience our brand of barefoot, all-inclusive luxury for yourself. Free nights are valid on all bookings but must be manually registered when booking with a tour operator partner.”

Travel advisors can also earn a $500 gift card for booking 10+ contracted group rooms. Agents can also take advantage of marketing tools to help increase bookings.

“Couples offers marketing tools that are designed to be simple and lucrative to your bottom line,” she adds. “All promotions are emailed out to advisors in our Couples database. Our marketing materials feature downloadable flyers where agents can drop in their own call to action as well as social posts with captions to promote the sale on their social pages.”

As for interesting booking trends, she says one notable trend is the shift towards shorter booking windows, “with guests valuing speed, convenience, and flexibility more than ever.”

“At Couples Resorts, we’re proud to meet and exceed these expectations by leveraging our gold-standard service that has long been our hallmark,” she says. “Each of our resorts features elegantly designed rooms and suites that blend luxury with the natural beauty of Jamaica.”

New this year, Couples Resorts has introduced a new Get Swept Away Summer Event Series at Couples Swept Away in Negril, that blends romance, wellness, music, and culinary delights.

“This series, made up of Disconnect to Reconnect in May and Arts, Eats & Beats in June, offers an immersive experience against the stunning backdrop of Seven Mile Beach sunsets,” she explains. “Guests are invited to indulge in exclusive events curated by local and international experts, promising unforgettable moments of discovery and shared adventure. From rejuvenating wellness activities like Pilates and mindfulness sessions to dynamic culinary experiences featuring specialty dinners and mixology classes, the Get Swept Away Summer Event Series sets a new standard in luxury hospitality, curated to exceed expectations and create lasting memories.”
