Majestic Resorts' Rod Hanna reveals selling tips and what agents should know about the resort company
Travel Courier caught up with Rod Hanna, the business development manager, Canada for Majestic Resorts, to find out more about the brand, what’s new and what agents should know.
Tell us a bit about Majestic Resorts – how many properties are there and where?
Majestic Resorts is a five-star luxury, all-inclusive resort brand with a focus on beachfront experiences and overall excellence in the Caribbean: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Costa Mujeres, Mexico. In Punta Cana, Majestic Resorts has four standalone pickleball courts! Don’t know how to play? No worries, complimentary pickleball classes are available on Fridays at 4:00 p.m.
Do you have any selling tips to share?
We love to work with our travel agent partners to make them shine in front of our mutual guests and drive home the importance of booking with a travel agent. Please let us know when clients are repeated guests and/or are celebrating an anniversary, birthday, honeymoon, etc. Our teams in destination love making guests feel even extra special when in house celebrating that special occasion… even include a personalized note from their favourite travel agent!

How are sales going from Canada? Are there any particular locations that are performing well?
They’re going well, however, they could always be better! Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres and Majestic Mirage Punta Cana are consistently performing well.
