Virgin Limited Edition launches NEW Virtual Series to explore from home

From learning how to jump like a Maasai Warrior at Mahali Mzuri in Kenya to Lemur Yoga on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, and a special Sofa Safari at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve in South Africa, Virgin Limited Edition is inviting would be family travellers to experience some of the best aspects of its retreats from home.

Families will be taken on a journey around the world, learning about different cultures and traditions in a fun and engaging way.

The Virgin Limited Edition collection of properties located around the world naturally has an array of cultures and activities that form an incredible part of education outside of the classroom and following on from the success of its “Sofa Safaris”, the properties have come together to create a unique series of activities specifically tailored for children.

Planned to ease some of the pressure of formal academic exercises, the new virtual kids series will give an exciting taste of the rest of the world and its cultures while offering a brief respite for parents with an educational and fun activity to break up the day.

Vanessa Neal, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Virgin Limited Edition explained “We all understand that home schooling is no easy task, but while it’s so important for children to continue to follow the curriculum, it’s just as important for them to understand the world around us and have a little fun along the way.

“There is much research to suggest that if children are engaged, stimulated, active and busy with a variety of activities then these contribute to their development as much as formal study does. In fact, variety has the added benefit of ensuring youngsters stay motivated and therefore we are incredibly excited to bring to life some of the activities from our incredible properties around the world – all with something fun, but educational for children to enjoy amid these difficult and challenging times.”

The series will start on January 28 and will run every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon until the February 11, taking place on Instagram @VirginLimitedEdition.

The full series dates are as follows:
