Exotik Journeys takes agents on an unforgettable journey through Singapore and Malaysia
Exotik Journeys recently wrapped up a FAM trip to Singapore and Malaysia. The trip, running from Oct. 18- 27 provided travel agents from Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia firsthand insight into the unique experiences that await clients in these Southeast Asian destinations.
The group was guided by Exotik Journeys’ business development manager, Jessica Smid, who helped facilitate discussions on Exotik Journeys’ extensive portfolio of programs and offerings. Lydia Lefort, supervisor of the customized groups department, also joined the delegation, bringing her specialized expertise in bespoke travel solutions.
The journey began with Air Canada’s direct flights from Vancouver to Singapore, allowing participants to enjoy a seamless travel process. In both Singapore and Malaysia, agents had the opportunity to explore an array of curated tours, excursions and premium accommodations, including stays in 4- and 5-star hotels.
Some of the standout experiences included exploring the mangroves in Langkawi, enjoying a scenic trishaw ride through the streets of Penang, touring the lush tea plantations in the rolling hills of Cameron Highlands, and taking in the breathtaking Batu Caves.
Through this FAM trip, Exotik Journeys empowered travel agents with the tools, resources, and local insights necessary to effectively promote and sell travel packages to Singapore and Malaysia. With this hands-on exposure to the vibrant cultures, stunning landscapes, and high-quality accommodations, agents are now well-prepared to craft personalized, memorable vacations for their clients.
