Eight reasons to celebrate the holiday season at Tremblant
By Bob Mowat /  October 21, 2019

From Dec. 24 to Jan. 3, the magic of the holiday season is poised to be all wrapped up under a fresh white mantle of snow at Tremblant in Quebec.

With its laneways glittering with European charm, visitors are invited to discover boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars paired with a full lineup of activities to boost the holiday spirit. The following are eight reasons to take full advantage of Tremblant’s winter celebrations.

Meet Santa Claus ‒ Young and old alike are sure to feel the magic of Christmas on Dec. 24 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. when Santa Claus hops off his sleigh with his elves to meet with all those who want to share their dearest wishes with him one last time.

Join Holiday Apres-Ski fun ‒ Dec. 25 to Jan. 3, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Place Saint-Bernard showcases three major themes: Our Traditions, Winter Wonderland Magic and Everything Skiing. Attend daily family workshops, interactive musical performances, DJ, and enjoy a band of friendly characters, all for your entertainment.

Ring in the New Year… Outdoors! ‒ Dec. 31, celebrate the New Year big time by attending the Torchlight Parade, followed by a Fluorescent New Year’s Eve Party on Place Saint-Bernard transformed into a starlight disco. Later, fireworks mark the start of a new year, and the party continues later in the pedestrian village’s bars.

Discover what’s new on-mountain and in the village ‒ Skiers and revellers are invited to discover snowmaking upgrades on Versant Soleil and at the Grand Manitou, and the new on-mountain mobile canteen Le Nomade. In the village, there have been recent renovations at the Homewood & Suites by Hilton hotel complex, at La Forge Bistro-Bar & Grill and at Chocolaterie Rocky Mountain.

Quality family time at Brind’o Waterplay Complex ‒ A completely refreshed experience owing to a $3.8 million investment. Year-round, the family waterplay complex proposes four water slides for the young and the young at heart, 35 interactive waterplay features, a jetted hot tub and a newly updated fitness and training centre with all-new equipment.

Celebrate winter in its every form ‒ In addition to on-mountain slide sports, adrenaline hounds and vacationers seeking relaxation can add winter activities to their must-do list ‒ choose between skating and dogsledding or sliding, ice climbing, winter fat biking, snowshoeing with dinner in a mountain cabin, sleigh rides, wellness centres and Nordic spas.

Rain or shine, always great fun ‒ No matter the weather, there’s always something to do at Tremblant. Artists can create their own T-shirt, teddy bear or pottery while adventurers try escape games, laser tag and virtual reality games. Boutiques, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, bars and the Casino also promise endless fun… for grown-ups only.

Savings on holiday lodging ‒ Thirteen hotels, including five industry leaders, welcome vacationers by offering lodging privileges like free access to First Tracks, skates on loan, and Sliding Evenings. Book before Nov. 28 and get up to 25% off lodging ‒ on a stay that takes place between Nov. 1 and April 30 2020, including Christmas and Easter. Oh, and kids stay free.
