This May it's all about you at our three-day Travel Agent Appreciation celebration

Travel advisors across the country are invited to take part in a special three-day Travel Agent Appreciation Virtual Event from May 17 to 19.

There will be some fabulous prizes up for grabs as we toast to the travel advisors featured in the Travel Agent Appreciation 2022 magazine and celebrate the industry at large for getting through these challenging times. On May 19, one of the finalists from this year’s edition will receive the second annual Travel Agent and Beyond Award.

But wait — there’s more! The virtual events feature engaging sessions with industry experts and your chance to connect with suppliers during a trade show.

Here’s an overview of what’s in store:

Day 1 Cruise Symposium

Tuesday, May 17 | 3-4:30pm EST

The cruise industry has experienced some rough waters over the past two years. But, today, things are looking up as cruise lines set a course to recovery. Don’t miss this session as cruise industry experts talk about where things are at now and what’s on their itineraries for the future.

Day 2 Luxury Symposium

Wednesday, May 18 | 3-4:30pm EST

Opportunity is knocking. And it seems like those ‘in-the-know’ are seeing a huge potential in the luxury market. This is a ‘don’t miss’ session with lots of great insights for those targeting this segment of the market.

Day 3 Travel Agent Appreciation Event & Award Presentation

Thursday, May 19 | 1-4pm EST

In addition to announcing the recipient of the second annual Travel Agent and Beyond Award, we’ll be shining a spotlight on travel advisors and have a great line-up of speakers and tons of prizes.

Judith Coates, one of the founders of the Association of Canadian Independent Travel Advisors, which has been advocating on behalf of Independent Travel Advisors across the country will share updates on the latest work the association is doing, how agents can get involved and what’s next.

Tannis Dyrland, the owner of Travel With Tannis and creator of The Fu*k-It List™️ & Mile High Cocktails, will share some examples of successful marketing campaigns and useful tips for travel advisors to drive engagement and bookings.

Shalene Dudley, who launched her own independent travel agency in the midst of the pandemic, will share tips on prioritizing partnerships that align with your business values and how to use FAM trips to increase business and to drive awareness.
