Yacht charter company Dream Yacht Worldwide has expanded its Easy Crewed yacht product to four new destinations — the British Virgin Islands, Martinique, Tahiti and Seychelles — for those clients looking for a private yacht experience.

The concept, which launched last year in Greece and Croatia, was designed for those who are new to chartering. The charter program builds upon the company’s Cabin Cruise vacations, which consists of booking a private staterooms on a catamaran with other guests versus having the entire yacht for the group.

“If you’ve always wanted to try a sailing vacation but lack sailing experience, or even the time to plan, an Easy Crewed Charter is the ideal option,” Dan Lockyer, chief commercial officer at Dream Yacht Worldwide, tells Travel Courier. “On board, you’ll find comfortable private cabins with ensuite baths, plus spacious areas for dining and lounging. You’ll have everything you need for the ready-made escape of your dreams, including an experienced skipper and an optional host with full or half board meals. We even include snorkeling equipment and a paddle board for you to have fun in the water. Your skipper will whisk you away to the best hidden coves, islands and seaside villages, while on land you’ll be free to hire a car or scooter to explore the best sites of your destination.”

Bookings can be made for up to ten family members or friends for a week of sailing from bases in Greece, Croatia, the British Virgin Islands, Martinique, Tahiti, or the Seychelles. Add ons include options to include a hostess/cook, air conditioning, and meal packages to include all breakfasts and lunches or all meals in more remote cruising grounds. These meal plans cater to the guest’s specific preferences.

“Whatever your perfect itinerary is, your skipper will be happy to accommodate you,” he says. “Your yacht will be stocked with fresh local food items and the hostess will prepare breakfast and a light lunch for your group each day. In the evenings, enjoy time ashore sampling delicious local fare at restaurants or tavernas.”

The success of Easy Crewed trips in Croatia and Greece were very popular last year, which led to the expansion.

“Due to pent-up travel demand after the COVID years, bookings in the Mediterranean have been very strong this year. Now that we are moving into the colder month, Caribbean charter destinations are becoming more popular. People are jumping on the opportunity of restriction-free travel and the ultimate freedom that a vacation on a private yacht offers,” says Lockyer. “The majority of guests choosing our Easy Crewed package are first time charterers. They like the simplicity this product offers.”

For clients wanting an even more upscale experience, they can opt for the Fully Crewed packages instead.

“Our fully crewed yacht charters are designed for those seeking an exclusive, exceptional and remarkable vacation of a lifetime,” he notes. “Step aboard our premium, fully crewed private yachts, where your every desire is catered for. Immerse yourself in your destination and enjoy a different view every day. Relax on a spacious deck with a cocktail while our professional crew takes care of every detail for you and your guests. Our expert team is on hand to guide you through every planning step so your vacation goes smoothly from the start.”

Notably, Lockyer says Dream Yacht Worldwide provides travel advisors with a competitive commission on every booking they make.

“We like working with travel advisors and strongly encourage them to add yacht charter vacations to their repertoire to stand out from the crowd,” he says. “It might seem very different from the hotel and cruise products most of them are familiar with, but we are here to help. Apart from our Easy Crewed or Fully Crewed charters, which reserve the whole boat with three to six cabins, Cabin Cruises (booked by the cabin) are popular with travel agencies.”
