Checking out the latest hotel and resort news from fresh renovations to brand new or upcoming properties to entice your clients.

Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp

The reimagined Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp is now open. The property is known for its conservation achievements to help safeguard one of the world’s last free-roaming populations of Critically Endangered black rhinos. The camp provides guests with unique opportunities to track rhinos on foot and by vehicle with expert guides.

Guests who check into the property help support the conservation of Namibia’s black rhinos while experiencing the region’s diverse biodiversity, including  Hartmann’s mountain zebra, southern giraffe, gemsbok (oryx), springbok, kudu and black-backed jackal.

Eriro

For those looking for a nature escape, eriro, an idyllic nine-bedroom hideaway accessible mainly by cable-car, has officially opened its doors in the Tyrolean Alps of Ehrwald, Austria. Situated over 5,000 feet above sea level, eriro works solely with regional companies and offers a reimagined take on Alpine luxury.

While on site, clients can embark on guided barefoot hikes through the forest, meditate in the wilderness, mountain bike or climb, learn to craft using local techniques with raw materials like wood and stone from the mountain, or give yodeling a try. Additionally, eriro collaborates with a variety of local partners for astronomy, pottery classes and music.

Housing only nine luxury suites, the eriro spa is deliberately located in the basement of the property among untamed rocks, forests and meadows on the Tyrolean alpine pastures.

Brunfels Hotel

Clients bound for Mainz can now check into Brunfels Hotel, a boutique property in the city’s historic old town.

The hotel is close to attractions including the Romanesque Mainz Cathedral, the ancient Gutenberg Museum and the Marktplatz square.

The 5-story hotel has 127 rooms and features community spaces with a warm and retro chic vibe, including a hidden courtyard. The property collaborates with local producers such as craft brewer Kuehn Kunz Rosen, Gin distillery Edelranz and coffee roasters Müller.

The restaurant takes a modern approach to German cuisine, focusing on seasonality and sourcing with local and regional produce. Its wine selection focuses on local producers, featuring top German winemakers alongside lesser-known labels.

Hyatt Place Rouen

The 85-room Hyatt Place Rouen is now open with a location that’s a short stroll from iconic sites such as the Musee des Beaux-Arts de Rouen and the Gothic Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Rouen.

Located within a former teacher training college dating back to 1886, the hotel features a restaurant with French regional cuisine with an outdoor terrace and garden, an onsite spa with a heated pool and treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and three meeting rooms.

The hotel offers panoramic views overlooking the city’s skyline of “a hundred spires.”
