Shoppers will be in their element in AVA Resort Cancun
AVA Resort Cancun says it’s a great place to go for an indoor stroll. The beachfront property faces the Caribbean Sea, the very type of setting that has made Cancun hugely popular with sun-seekers from around the world.
But the resort’s Stephania Macias notes that among resort features is The Boulevard, a kilometre-long indoor walkway that leads guests past a large variety of stores, restaurants, and other tourist-oriented attractions. Indeed, all resort restaurants and stores flank the Boulevard, except for a poolside snack bar, notes Macias, who in turn notes that the pool is an impressive hundreds of meters in length.
Restaurants include two Japanese eateries in a resort that proudly states that it has “restaurants from around the globe.” Night owls can go nightclubbing on site.
“We are completely majestic and big,” says Macias, who reports that the upscale all-inclusive will have 1,622 rooms by the end of the year. “We are very proud of the resort,” Macias continues. “We say here in AVA the world is yours. We want it to be luxurious, cozy and familiar.”
Medical help is available on site 24 hours a day, and the resort has such unusual features as a bowling alley, leading Macias to declare that the resort’s designers “thought of everything.” Watersports are available at the ocean-fronting property and another feature is a children’s and teens’ game room. An adults-only section is available.
The property is found in a green area, with no neighbouring resorts, with Macias reporting her property works to preserve both the beach and bordering mangroves. There is little traffic in the area and the resort is less than 15 minutes from Cancun’s airport.
Meanwhile, Macias says potential guests shouldn’t believe that walking from one end of the Boulevard to the other will be a daunting task. “It takes seven minutes if you walk fast,” she reports.
