From the first W resort to enter the all-inclusive space to a new build coming to Paraguay, here's the latest hotel and resort openings
W Punta Cana
Bookings are now open for W Punta Cana, the first resort of the iconic luxury lifestyle hospitality brand to enter the all-inclusive space. Set to open in May, the resort will feature 340 thoughtfully designed spacious guest rooms and suites, each offering ocean views, state-of-the-art technology, and plush furnishings that include one or two king beds configurations in each room. Dining options will include a diverse array of 12 restaurants and bars including a-la-carte dining menus, live cooking stations, a signature restaurant helmed by a renowned chef, offering a fusion of local and Caribbean flavors, plus international cuisines, along with multiple bars including a mystic speakeasy.
W Punta Cana will be rooted in both mindfulness and recreation with bespoke services at the full-service AWAY Spa, a state-of-the-art 15,000 sq ft signature FIT gym, and an array of water sports and recreational activities to ensure a rejuvenating stay. Vibrant social spaces will include dynamic public areas where the music is the focal element, including a rooftop bar with panoramic views, a lively infinity pool deck, and an exclusive beach club, perfect for socializing and relaxation.
One&Only Moonlight Basin
One&Only’s first resort in the United States, One&Only Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana, is set to welcome guests from Nov. 18 and is now accepting reservations. Offering guests a sneak peek into the resort’s future offering, the ultra-luxury brand’s first alpine resort One&Only Sky Lodge is already open.
Located in the wilderness of Montana, the resort is a short drive from Yellowstone National Park. The Moonlight Basin property spans over 8,000 acres and the One&Only resort is situated inside the community on 240 acres. Heated and conveniently located steps from the Landing restaurant, the One&Only Gondola offers direct mountain access to the Madison Base area of Big Sky Resort.
One&Only Moonlight Basin has announced a partnership with culinary global leader and former professional snowboarder Chef Akira Back, who will open his namesake Akira Back branded restaurant serving modern Japanese cuisine at the resort next winter.
The resort will be home to six bars and restaurants, including the Akira Back restaurant, which will bring a melting pot of culture and flavour to Montana.
One&Only Moonlight Basin is home to a collection of guest rooms, suites, cabins, and an exclusive community of One&Only private homes nestled across the secluded grounds. The resort is designed to feel simultaneously connected to and protected from the dramatic landscape, featuring local art, welcoming textiles, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Las Brisas Mérida
Las Brisas Mérida, an exclusive boutique hotel in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula is now open. Located on Avenida Colón, one of the main roadways in downtown Mérida and just minutes from the International Convention Centre, Paseo de Montejo and the International Airport, Las Brisas Mérida is home to 50 spacious suites with a contemporary design that merges luxury and comfort.
Its facilities include a restaurant, an outdoor terrace, swimming pool with swim-up bar, gardens and fountains, a furnished central courtyard and a health and wellness centre. In addition, it boasts a fitness centre and a meeting room, providing a comprehensive offering to meet the needs of guests and customers.
NH Collection Asunción
Minor Hotels, a global hotel owner and operator with more than 560 hotels and resorts in 58 countries, has announces its upcoming debut in Paraguay with the development of a new NH Collection hotel in Asunción.
The project will be located on Avenida Santa Teresa, 400 metres from the intersection with Avenida Aviadores del Chaco, one of the most important and dynamic arteries of the Paraguayan capital. Integrated into a complex of more than 70 floors, which will become the tallest building in Asunción and the fourth tallest in South America, this development will include residences, offices, commercial spaces and parking; creating a world-class urban ecosystem that will bring value to the city and its inhabitants.
