Beach Enclave Turks & Caicos
Beach Enclave Turks & Caicos will provide complimentary COVID-19 testing for all guests. These pre-departure tests will take place in the comfort and privacy of each guest’s villa and will be coordinated directly by the concierge team.
This includes all three Beach Enclave Turks & Caicos locations on Providenciales: Beach Enclave North Shore, Beach Enclave Long Bay and the all-new Beach Enclave Grace Bay.
Sandals and Beaches Resorts
Sandals and Beaches Resorts are advising that Canadians will be able to receive a complimentary COVID-19 PCR test onsite at their resort prior to their departure to Canada.
Sandals will be making available complimentary COVID-19 testing available through March 31 in the comfort of its resorts.
Tests will be conducted by approved and practiced medical professionals.
Once at the resort, the Sandals team will assist guests in making all arrangements necessary to schedule an onsite COVID-19 test at the resort. This will be done at least 72 hours before departure, and test results will be available within 24 hours.
And the company noted that in the unfortunate event that a guest should test positive for COVID-19, prior to departure, they can rest assured we are ready to offer onsite support in line with all CDC and WHO best practices. As well, Sandals said that guests are covered through the Travel Protection Insurance that it has purchased on their behalf. This plan protects guests in situations such as these and affords coverage for up to a 14-night stay at no cost to them.
Palladium Hotel Group
Palladium Hotel Group properties in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica are offering PCR tests onsite on the resorts’ doctor’s office with results within 72 hours. It is recommended for guests to schedule the appointment upon check-in at the hotel.
Costs vary by destination depending which lab is used, typically ranging from US$140-150 (with costs in Jamaica coming to US$232 on weekdays and US$350 on weekends) and are performed on a nonprofit basis.
Hard Rock Hotels, UNICO 20º87º Hotel Riviera Maya and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos
In compliance with the recent Canadian government guidelines requiring air passengers to present a negative COVID-19 test result prior to boarding an international flight back to Canada, the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels, UNICO 20º87º Hotel Riviera Maya and Nobu Hotel Los Cabos will be offering the following for all Canadian guests checking out between January 26 and December 31, 2021 or until the mandates are lifted:
Hotel will absorb a portion of the onsite PCR test cost and offer it for only US$99
Tests must be taken up to 72 hours prior to scheduled departure
Complimentary onsite medical assistance insurance
In the event that a guest tests positive for COVID-19 while at the hotel, the onsite medical assistance insurance will cover up to US$150 per night for a maximum of 10 nights.
Multiple resorts, Saint Lucia
In response to the Canadian, United States and United Kingdom, governments’ requirements of a negative pre-departure Covid-19 test for airline passengers, Saint Lucia and its accommodation sector has multiple Covid-19 PCR and antigen (rapid) testing options available for departing visitors, citizens and residents to help ease the stress and cost of vacation planning. Travellers can obtain a Covid-19 test conveniently at their select hotels or at local testing facilities, with test results returned within the requisite 72-hour time frame.
As of January 18th, the hotels and villas offering complimentary Covid-19 antigen (rapid) testing to qualified guests include: Anse Chastanet; all five Bay Gardens properties; Calabash Cove Resort & Spa; Caille Blanc Villa & Hotel; Cap Maison Resort & Spa; Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa; Jade Mountain; Ladera Resort; Marigot Bay Resort and Marina; Rabot Hotel from Hotel Chocolat; Sandals Resorts in Saint Lucia; Serenity at Coconut Bay; Sugar Beach – A Viceroy Resort; Stonefield Villa Resort; Tet Rouge and Ti Kaye Resort & Spa. Additional properties in Saint Lucia are anticipated to roll out complimentary testing in the coming weeks. Restrictions may apply and visitors should check with their accommodation provider for details; select hotels are offering PCR tests to guests who meet qualifications.
La Colección Resorts
La Colección Resorts, a collection of distinctive resorts located throughout Mexico and the Dominican Republic, just announced it will officially offer free antigen tests to guests at its beach hotels. For the convenience of its guests, the resorts’ concierge desk will coordinate with local laboratories so guests can take the test inside hotel facilities 36 hours before their departure. PCR tests will also be available at an additional cost.
In addition to these services, the Travel with Confidence Protection program also offers guests full coverage of accidents or illnesses (including COVID-19) from the time of check-in to check-out and telehealth assistance for up to 72 hours, hotel expenses during recovery, and 24-hour services among other benefits at an extra cost of US$4 per night. Should a guest test positive, a substantial discounted nightly rate of $10 per night (plus taxes), per person, will be offered during quarantine.
Casa de Campo Resort, DR
Casa de Campo guests are now able to obtain their PCR test directly on-site without having to leave the property. The medical team from our Central Romana Medical Center has set up a VIP testing lounge where guests will be administered the test and provided their results the same day. There is a cost of US$150 per person for the test and appointments will be scheduled upon check-in by the Front Desk managers and concierge team.
