Air Canada Vacations has launched an oceans-spanning program that uses its ties with Air Canada to deliver clients to far-flung locales.
The tour operator concluded its ACVDreamMakers tour in the Toronto area recently, the end of a five-city roadshow that literally went coast to coast and prompted Air Canada Vacations vice-president Nino Montagnese to declare its offerings move well beyond simply offering beach stays in the coming months to winter-weary sorts.
“With Air Canada Vacations it really is your world to discover,” Montagnese told some 900 travel agents about a program that he noted not only features traditional sunspots in this country but points in farther away Asia and the Middle East as well.
Program highlights include the Sun Collection, which offers over 1,000 resorts across 45 destinations, along with hundreds of cruise itineraries.
Also found is an enhanced ePackages program that the tour operator states “offers flexibility and equips our travel partners with the tools they need to easily book flight and hotel packages for customers anywhere Air Canada operates.”
As well, “our Vacation Promise, Cruise Promise and our CareFlex and Carefree programs allow customers to travel with peace of mind, ultimately providing agents with turnkey tools to support their clients,” the tour operator reports. “Our expansive product offering in Europe, Asia and South Pacific, the United States and Canada allows agents to book the long-awaited vacation of their client’s dreams.”
Air Canada Vacations also stated its group Insta Quote is soon to come and praised “our Group Care ACV&ME Loyalty program with more rewards, flexibility, and automation; the ability to earn Aeroplan points on all flight-inclusive packages; and the opportunity to earn a standard commission on any cancelled individual bookings made 45 days or more prior to departure: 20% commission on CAREFLEX & CAREFREE, our travel protections when added to clients’ winter holidays.”
Furthermore, the ACV&ME Loyalty program has more rewards, flexibility, and automation.
Air Canada Vacations’ area sales manager Dianne Pedroso told the Toronto gathering that her company’s program extends as far away as Australia and Thailand.
“We want you to dream big and see the world, ” she said.
Meanwhile, senior Sandals figure Gary Sadler labelled Air Canada Vacations Sandals “No. 1 partner” and said both his company and the tour operator are “constantly championing” travel agents.
Henry Perez of Bahia Principe’s sales department said the Canadian market is particularly strong for his company.
“Keep selling. I need my job,” he joked.
