A real agent booked destination wedding in Mexico
March 22, 2022

Pamela Walker’s clients Crystal and Corey started planning their destination wedding in May 2019. The couple signed their marriage license on Dec. 31, 2019 in preparation for a symbolic ceremony on April 14, 2020 with 165 friends and relatives. After having to change the date four times, the couple finally tied the knot at Royalton Riviera Cancun in Mexico on January 11, 2022 — some 600 days later than originally planned. While the guest list went down from 165 to 70, the couple had a “surprise stowaway” in attendance — their future son or daughter “tucked away in mom’s tummy.”

The pair are thankful to have worked with a travel advisor to coordinate and rebook travel and accommodations.

“From the original date we had three revisions, which meant multiple emails, flight changes and changes in personal circumstances that had us land with 70 of the original guests on our final guest list. We could not have imagined handling all of that on our own,” say Crystal and Corey. “We shared a beautiful week of festivities and love, while creating memories that would last us a lifetime. Everyone who came to the wedding tested negative and was able to return home safely.”
