Adventure Canada is reaching out to culturally inclined landlubbers interested in seeing a lofty Andean archeological site that it says dovetails nicely with some marine exploration in a renowned showcase for Mother Nature.

The company, best known for expedition cruises to the Canadian Arctic and North Atlantic, says demand for its South American programming has grown.

Peru was regularly featured by Adventure Canada pre-pandemic and the company says most of its Galapagos clients are Canadians who are interested in longer, diverse programs when planning travel South America travel. The cultural sites of Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley — two showcases for Peru’s Inca heritage found high in the Andes — will be explored in-depth and are seen as offering a perfect combination to the wildlife-rich experience in the Galapagos. “Our guests experience a premier wildlife and cultural pairing,” Poisson states.
