Victory Cruise Lines unveils new 2020 itineraries

Victory Cruise Lines have unveiled its 2020 voyage itineraries onboard the M/V Victory I and M/V Victory II.

Operated by American Queen Steamboat Company, a leader in US river cruising, the 202-guest M/V Victory I and M/V Victory II will offer six new itineraries, in addition to its popular Splendor of the Great Lakes (Chicago, Illinois to Toronto) and Canadian Crown Jewels (Montreal to Boston) voyages unveiled during the 2019 inaugural season.

New cruises will explore the majesty and beauty of the North American coastline, while continuing to provide guests with an upscale cruising experience featuring “attentive service, masterful regional cuisine and thoughtfully designed educational enrichment and lectures.”

Expanded offerings

The new itineraries include:

North America’s Coastal Connection on board M/V Victory I or M/V Victory II

Port Colborne (Niagara Falls), Ont. to Chicago

A nine-day itinerary that begins in Niagara Falls and travels to the time-honoured ports of Detroit, Green Bay and Chicago. Guests will experience the vibrancy of these robust cities balanced with the quiet, charming atmosphere of Mackinac Island on Lake Huron.

St. Lawrence Seaway Exploration on board M/V Victory I

Halifax to Buffalo

Guests begin their journey with a pre-cruise overnight in Halifax before departing on this 11-day voyage. After exploring the bustling streets of this historic seaport, guests will embark through the Strait of Canso to the St. Lawrence Seaway and Ontario’s Thousand Islands. Ports of call include Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; Québec City, Québec and Montreal; Port Colborne (Niagara Falls), Ont. and concluding in Buffalo.

Chicago to Hamilton, Ont.

Guests are invited to experience the soothing seaways of North America’s Great Lakes on this nine-day adventure. The journey begins in Chicago and into Lake Michigan visiting the Port of Muskegon, to Lake Huron stopping at Mackinac Island and then Lake Erie calling on ports in Detroit, Cleveland and Port Colborne (Niagara Falls), disembarking in Hamilton, Ont.

Provincial Passage to New England on board M/V Victory I

Hamilton (Niagara Falls), Ont. to Boston

This 13-day journey showcases the natural beauty and rich cultures of the Canadian Maritimes. Beginning with a pre-cruise stay in Niagara Falls, then departing from Hamilton, Ont. guests will sail through Ontario’s Thousand Islands. Continuing on the St. Lawrence Seaway, with ports of call in Montreal and Québec City, Que.; Charlottetown, PEI; Halifax; Portland, Maine; and ending in Boston.

Canada’s Southern Coast on board M/V Victory II

Bar Harbor, Maine to Port Colborne (Niagara Falls), Ont.

Discover the charms of the Maritime provinces and French Canada with this 14-day journey along the Atlantic Coast and St. Lawrence Seaway.

Great Lakes Grand Discovery on board M/V Victory II

Chicago to Montreal

Guests will marvel at the beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and southern Canadian coast on this 13-day cruise. Beginning in Chicago, concluding in Montreal.
