Checking out the latest hotel and resort news from fresh renovations to brand new or upcoming properties to entice your clients. 

Ta’aktana, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa

Clients looking for a serene island escape in Indonesia can now experience TA’AKTANA, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Labuan Bajo. Spread across 16 hectares, TA’AKTANA features 70 guest rooms including 25 villas and 45 suites with outdoor balconies. There are seven overwater villas for those seeking luxury and tranquility.

Located in the heart of Labuan Bajo, the resort serves as a gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Komodo National Park and is just steps away from an array of cultural attractions such as Mirror Stone Cave, Rumah Tenun, Melo Village, and more. Clients can access the property via a flight from Jakarta and Bali to Komodo International Airport, followed by a short 10-minute drive.

The resort also offers a fitness centre and a Di’a Spa featuring six private treatment rooms, a steam room, and plunge pool.

Kimpton Las Mercedes

Those looking for a new option in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic can now check into Kimpton Las Mercedes.

The boutique property blends 16th-century architecture with a fully modernized 130-room hotel with a rooftop pool, cigar lounge, fitness centre and multiple restaurants and bars.

The onsite El Patio restaurant features international cuisine while Zola offers fine Italian cuisine.

Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar

Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa is set to open in July, marking the first Indigo resort in Oman.

With 175 rooms, suites and villas with private pools, the boutique property is set on a cliff edge with views of the Hajar mountain range.

For those looking to unwind, there’s Vayu, a stunning world leading spa and wellness facility.

Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin

RIU Hotels & Resorts recently completed the refurbishment of the Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin. The 4-star hotel now offers 404 fully refurbished rooms with modern, contemporary amenities. The historic six-storey establishment has eleven meeting and conference rooms, a fitness centre and the Writer’s Lounge bar, as well as two restaurants: the Gallery, where breakfast is served; and Toddy’s Restaurant, serving up local cuisine. The Riu Plaza Gresham Dublin is the Majorcan chain’s oldest property, an original 19th-century build dating back to 1817.
