The opening of Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, marks the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the Middle East. Located on Ummahat Island, a private island in the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, Nujuma features 63 overwater and beach villas, offering one-to-three-bedroom accommodations, spacious living areas and private pools overlooking the sea. The property is accessed by chartered boat or seaplane. The private island retreat is within the Blue Hole cluster of islands, surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef system.
The latest addition to the NH Collection portfolio, NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa is now open. The hotel represents the debut of the NH Collection brand in Finland and combines two historically significant buildings, the New Student House and Hotel Seurahuone, one of Helsinki’s best-preserved heritage properties and the heart of Finnish culture and social life since the early 20th Century. There are 224 guest rooms and suites – including an opulent 1,722 sq. ft. presidential suite.
Following its fall 2023 upgrades, which included significant changes to the rooms, reception area, main restaurant, and bar, Club Med Buccaneer’s Creek resort in Martinique is set to undergo additional renovations. Slated for winter 2025, the additional enhancements will focus on remaining guest rooms and further upgrades to the main restaurant and spa. The property will undergo the second phase of its refresh to rejuvenate the resort and enhance the overall guest experience as part of Club Med’s global commitment to evolving the brand to a more upscale experience.
Moxy Hotels, a lifestyle hotel brand that’s all about breaking the mould of conventional hotel stays, is opening its second South Florida location, Moxy Miami Wynwood. Reservations are currently being accepted for stays beginning June 23. The hotel features 120 rooms, a 24/7 fitness centre, and a second-floor lobby featuring a full-service bar that doubles as the hotel’s check-in area and is the hub of the playful property.
Cross Hotels & Resorts has launched its new destination-centric brand, LUMEN, with the opening of Lumen Bangkok Udomsuk Station. The hotel is home to 102 guest rooms and a rooftop infinity pool offering panoramic views. With its prime location and convenient access to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the hotel serves as an ideal base for exploring Bangkok’s famed retail landscape including Bangkok Mall – The Grand Metropolis.
