Checking out the latest hotel and resort news from fresh renovations to brand new or upcoming properties to entice your clients.
Hilton West Palm Beach has completed a $25 million renovation featuring a transformed pool deck, a new lobby bar and 400 refreshed rooms, including 43 fully renovated suites. There are 81 rooms on floors 10-12 include with elevated offerings, dedicated business concierge services, priority poolside loungers, a Nespresso machine, upgraded linens, as well as specialty perks at The Square, West Palm Beach’s experiential neighbourhood featuring local shopping, restaurants and community-driven events.
Disneyland Resort is transforming Paradise Pier Hotel into the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States. Pixar Place Hotel will open Jan. 30, 2024 with reimagined guest rooms depicting whimsical details that nod to the iconic animation studio. Some new offerings are available now including outdoor fire pits themed to hotheaded Pixar characters, the STOR-E retail shop and expanded fitness centre.
Playa Hotels & Resorts recently completed extensive renovations at the newly renamed Wyndham Alltra Vallarta in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. A total of 159 rooms have been upgraded, including all Junior Suite Ocean Viewand Club Junior Suite Ocean View categories, at the property formerly known as Wyndham Alltra Riviera Nayarit.
Club level guests will appreciate the new and improved Alltra VIP Club which offers semi-private check-in and check-out service, concierge assistance, personalized cocktail service and more. In addition to access to Alltra VIP Club, club-level guests should also expect upgraded minibars, in-suite Nespresso coffee makers and a complimentary hydrotherapy spa experience.
In addition to the room upgrades, Wyndham Alltra Vallarta has enhanced its culinary offerings with five revamped dining venues. For an authentic taste of Mexico, clients may choose to visit Agave Bar, a brand-new concept for the hotel and the first Mezcaleria in the Playa Hotels & Resorts portfolio. Moreover, the hotel’s ballroom has undergone meticulous renovation.
Hungary-bound clients can now check into Dorothea Hotel, Budapest, Autograph Collection. Housed across three historic buildings in Budapest’s iconic District V, the new hotel is named after Archduchess Dorothea, an influential character of the 1800s who brought significant cultural and economic development to the city. Dorothea Hotel’s 216 guestrooms and suites are split into two distinct design categories, contemporary and heritage, all equipped with modern amenities. At the heart of the hotel is the inner courtyard – home to Pavilon Restaurant & Bar, a garden oasis, where guests are surrounded by nature. Helmed by Chef Carmine di Luggo, this restaurant brings a fresh take to dining in the city with locally sourced farm-to-table dishes. Wellness-loving guests can seek inner sanctuary at the spa, complete with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fitness centre, spanning a generous 650 square metres.
