Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto routes will see more flights

Aeromexico aircraft are very visible in Canadian skies these days. The carrier now has service from Mexico City to Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto, with the airline offering 21 flights a week to Vancouver, and 14 weekly flights to each Montreal and Toronto.

“As Canada’s largest city and a major international hub, Toronto attracts travellers from all the region, making it an important destination for Aeromexico,” says Michele Martinson, the airline’s director of sales for Canada. “We plan to increase capacity for the winter season by adding more flights to Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver in order to offer increased travel options and flexibility for passengers.”

The planned increase in capacity for December-January would see Aeromexico offer 21 weekly flights to both Montreal and Toronto, with three daily flights to each city, providing what Martinson says will be more convenient options for travellers flying between those cities and various destinations in Mexico and beyond. The Vancouver service will rise to 28 weekly flights or four a day.

“With more flights, travellers from Vancouver will have a broader selection of flight times and potential connections to enjoy their vacations or business trips to Mexico and other regions served by Aeromexico,” Martinson states. “Expanding capacity during the winter season demonstrates Aeromexico’s commitment to meeting passenger needs and offering enhanced travel opportunities to Canadian cities.

“The current performance of our Canadian routes is favourable, reflecting a positive outlook. However, we at the airline firmly believe that there are ample opportunities for even greater advancements, especially in attracting a larger volume of passengers, particularly from the premium segment and business travellers. Rest assured, we are fully committed to providing an exceptional experience for all our customers. We take great pride in providing outstanding service, and our mission is to further elevate our standards to exceed expectations. To achieve our goal, we recognize the importance of implementing targeted strategies and enhancing our service offerings.”

Aeromexico now has a network of 105 destinations, 57 within Mexico, and 48 international. Besides Canada, the airline serves points in Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, South America, and the United States.

Martinson says Aeromexico has a number of pluses when it comes to attracting Canadians wanting to visit Mexico.

“As the flag carrier of Mexico, Aeromexico offers an extensive network of flights connecting major Canadian cities to most of Mexico’s destinations, covering basically the whole country,” Martinson reports. “This can provide travellers with a wide range of options for their Mexican vacation, whether they wish to explore popular tourist destinations or off-the-beaten-path locations.”

Passengers will also have a choice of cabins, she notes. “Our travellers have the flexibility to select from a range of cabins to suit their preferences and needs. Whether it’s the extra legroom and exclusive benefits of AM Plus, the luxurious comfort of Clase Premier, or the excellent value of Economy, we offer diverse cabin options to cater to different travel styles.”

Aeromexico is touting a modern fleet of aircraft that includes the Boeing 737-9 Max, used on Canadian routes. The Boeing 737 Max is known for its advanced technology, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced passenger comfort, providing travellers with what the airline labels a more enjoyable and efficient flying experience.

“Aeromexico’s loyalty program, Aeromexico Rewards, provides frequent flyers with the opportunity to earn points and enjoy various benefits. For Canadians who frequently travel to Mexico or other destinations served by Aeromexico, this loyalty program can be appealing,” Martinson adds.

Aeromexico is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, which Martinson says opens up a world of possibilities for Canadian travellers heading to Mexico. Martinson says her airline reaches out to travel agents, in part through what she labels  competitive incentive programs, providing travel agents with financial rewards for promoting and selling the airline’s flights.

“Aeromexico stands out among airlines for its commitment to offering competitive pricing, ensuring that travellers can find cost-effective options for their flights,” she adds.

“Here at Aeromexico, we are dedicated to providing Canadians with an extraordinary travel experience,” Martinson adds. “Our commitment to exceptional service ensures that every moment of our passenger’s journey is comfortable and enjoyable. As a proud member of the SkyTeam Alliance, we offer seamless connections to a wide range of destinations, making it easier for passengers to explore Mexico and beyond with confidence. We take great pride in being the preferred airline for Canadians traveling to Mexico, and our focus on customer satisfaction ensures that our traveler’s journey will be nothing short of exceptional.”
