Following a conversion and renovation of an existing Kempinski resort, InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa is slated to open on Douglas Bay this April.
The 151-room property is located on the island’s northwest side and will feature four outdoor pools, an expansive spa, fitness centre and beach access, along with 8,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. Additionally, there will be four on-property restaurants and beach and swim-up pool bars. During the day, guest can explore the nearby Cabrits National Park or Dominica’s various hot springs, waterfalls and canyons.
As travel to Japan ramps up, clients now have a new option of where to stay in Toyama. DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama, the first Hilton hotel in Japan’s Hokuriku region, is located within a three-minute walk of Toyama Station and a 20-minute drive of Toyama Kitokito Airport.
Located on the coast of the Sea of Japan, Toyama offers convenient access to and from the major cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. With direct international flights from several Asian countries expected to resume in summer 2023, Hilton anticipates a growing demand for Toyama from international travellers.
The city of Toyama offers an ideal staging point for various popular day-trip destinations, including the Kurobe Alpine route, famous for massive snow walls; the traditional villages of Shirakawago and Gokayama; and the Noto Peninsula.
The 13-story, 201-room hotel features contemporary guest accommodations with five room types, ranging from 26-square-meter layouts for up to three people to a 79-square-meter premium suite that can comfortably accommodate up to four people. The hotel’s interior design and artwork take inspiration from the natural beauty of Toyama, including Toyama Bay and the Tateyama Mountain Range.
The all-new Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar, which is set to open this spring, is now accepting reservations. Accommodations include 161 luxury, seaside one, two or three bedroom apartments ranging from 1,130 to more than 3,000 square feet.
Bathed in year-round sunshine, guests can enjoy a private beach and two outdoor pools surrounded by loungers where drinks and snacks are offered, plus luxury cabanas amid lushly landscaped grounds. The Loulou Spa includes luxurious spa treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art gym and a 82 foot indoor lap pool overlooking the sea.
Leading an on-site collection of seven restaurants and bars will be La Méditerranée by globally renowned Chef Joël Robuchon, who holds nearly 30 Michelin stars for his restaurants worldwide.
