Rock isn't the only type of music awaiting guests

Staying at the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos can clearly amount to a trip down musical memory lane.
And staff are quick to note that the music that awaits guests needn’t be rock music alone, with different musical genres being heard on site.
As well, those exploring the oceanfront property — which opened in 2019 — will see clothes and other items that once belonged to household music industry names.
“I like to say we’re not only a hotel, we’re a museum,” sales manager Maribel Aguirre says of a property that displays reminders of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Madonna, Elvis and others throughout its grounds.
Hard Rock Hotels are quite naturally associated with rock music but Aguirre says guests may hear many types of music, recalling her introduction to yodeling was at her workplace.
“In the end, we’re a musical hotel,” she says. “We’re not just rock.”
The Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos joins another brand hotel Nobu in a private area that has guests and visitors pass through a staffed gate.
The town of Cabo San Lucas is about 30 minutes away.
The 4-Diamond hotel fronts a beach but discourages guests from entering the ocean because of possibly strong waves and currents, with Aguirre reporting that her resort has 7 swimming pools, ensuring guests can spend plenty of time in water.
She adds guests will find plenty of restaurants, bars and activities to choose from in a family property.
“We are a hotel for all markets,” she states. “We have everything for guests to stay in the hotel. They don’t need to go out.”
Being an all-inclusive distinguishes the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos from most other Los Cabos hotels, the majority of which have gone the EP route.
Hard Rock Hotels are relatively uncommon in Latin countries in this hemisphere. There are also properties bearing the Hard Rock name in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, the Riviera Maya and Punta Cana.
The Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos is looking forward to a strong winter.
Meanwhile, Aguirre says her hotel hosts many weddings and already has 2024 weddings booked.
