Travel inspiration for 2022 with Goway Travel
Although it feels “a bit foolhardy” to predict anything after the year we’ve all had, Renee Stanton-Defaria is looking at 2022 with positivity and optimism.
“I feel like 2022 will be a big year for a lot of us in the travel industry as we crave to get back out there and see the world,” Stanton-Defaria, General Manager Sales for Goway Travel, tells Travel Courier.
That said, she’s already looking ahead to taking multiple trips in the coming year. Here are three trips that top her bucket list for 2022:
Family time in Australia
One trip I will definitely be going on is back to Australia, whenever it opens. I had a baby at the start of the pandemic in April 2020 and unfortunately my plans to take my son home to meet his family were cancelled multiple times. So 2022 is the year my family and friends back home will finally meet my son—I’m confident in predicting some tears will be shed.
Soaking up the magic of Fiji
My family and I also hope to travel to Fiji as Fiji is an incredible destination for families, with crystal-clear waters and fantastic snorkelling options, and the Fijians are some of the nicest people on the planet and adore children to boot.
Saying ciao to Italy
Finally, my husband and I would like to do a self-drive vacation in Italy and drive the Amalfi Coast. Italy has always been one of my favourite European countries and the food, history, scenery, and climate offer something for everyone.
