AIR CANADA RAMPS UP SERVICE TO PARIS

Air Canada will increase service to Paris from Montreal and Toronto for the upcoming summer season.

Between July 2 and Aug. 28, Air Canada will operate three additional flights per week from Montreal and four additional flights from Toronto to Paris-Charles De Gaulle Airport.

“Air Canada already offers the most flights and widest choice of destinations for travel between Canada and France, and we are increasing our services to build on our market leading position. From our major hubs in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, we are scheduled to operate up to 54 non-stop flights per week to a total of six destinations in France for summer 2020,” said Mark Galardo, vice-president of Network Planning at Air Canada. “With Eastern Canada an increasingly popular destination for tourists, these additional Paris flights will provide more growth opportunities for Canada’s dynamic tourism sector. These added flights will also allow customers additional flexibility of choosing their preferred departure time from the City of Lights, as Air Canada will introduce an early evening departure from Paris to both Montreal and Toronto.”

The additional flights will be operated with Air Canada’s Airbus A330-300 fleet, featuring Signature Class, including lie-flat suites in business and Air Canada Signature Service, Premium Economy and Economy cabins.

FLAIR LAUNCHES CANADIAN TRAVEL PASS

Flair Airlines has launched a limited time offer that makes it easy for Canadians to connect with their family, friends and loved ones without “breaking the bank.”

For less than the cost of one roundtrip flight on other airlines, Flair’s Go Travel Pass allows passengers to fly across Canada between Feb. 13 and May 13, 2020 as often as they like.

The program gives passengers the flexibility to choose between a basic and unlimited package to best support their travel needs.

Sarah Riches, director of commercial for Flair Airlines, said: “We are thrilled to offer our passengers the freedom and flexibility to travel with our unlimited pass. Whether you are a student who needs to visit home, a small business owner on a budget, a family needing to connect or an adventure seeker looking for your next thrill; all Canadians deserve to travel without hesitation.”

And Riches added: “This pass is for the people and speaks to our mission of making air travel more accessible, affordable and desirable for all.”

Having flown nearly one million passengers in 2019 and targeted to fly 1.5 million in 2020, Flair Airlines continues to make waves in the airline industry and competitive environment by valuing the needs of Canadians and the importance of connecting people across the country.
