FOUR SEASONS HOSTS TRAVEL EDGE

Six of Travel Edge’s top performers were hosted by Four Seasons in Lanai, Hawaii recently. The Hawaii trip marks the third top performer trip of its kind.

Travel Edge is the first in the industry to reward and celebrate leading advisors with the opportunity to choose from an exclusive, curated list of luxury experiences, hosted by the world’s top brands. Multi-city trips in France, Italy, the Caribbean, and Germany accompany Hawaii on this list.

Advisors were welcomed to Four Seasons Resort Lanai; and Travel Edge had the exclusive opportunity to be the first group to experience Four Seasons Hotel Lanai at Koele, A Sensei Retreat.

The new adults-only, all-inclusive wellness retreat experience is the first of its kind for Hawaii and for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

Alongside a guest of their choosing, advisors embraced true Hawaiian beauty; beginning each day with a sunrise hike to Sweetheart Rock and sunrise yoga and ending each evening with a dinner or sunset boat tour.

They were immersed in the culture with Pu Blowing ceremonies and lei making classes; explored the island by horseback and experienced the ocean by snorkel or sail. The Four Seasons hosted premier dinners at One Forty, Malibu Farm, and Nobu Lanai.

KŌLOA RUM COMPANY EXPANDING FACILITIES

Kōloa Rum Company recently broke ground on its new headquarters on Maluhia Road in Kōloa town.

The expansion will more than double the size of its current facilities, creating a 45,000-sq.-ft. distillery and warehouse, which will also include a tasting room, company store and free-standing café.

To recognize and honour the agricultural heritage of Kōloa town – where Hawaii commercial sugar production operations were first introduced in 1835 – expansion plans also include the planting and cultivation of 10 to 12 acres of on-property sugar cane fields. Kōloa Rum will also refurbish old plantation camp structures into workforce housing and a museum that will share the rich history of sugarcane production in the area.

Completion of the project is currently projected for September 2020.
