CELEBRATING TRAVEL ADVISORS TODAY AND EVERY DAY

One of my favourite Baxter Media publications that I get to work on is the annual Travel Agent Appreciation edition because we get to highlight remarkable travel advisors from across the country. This is the ninth year that we’ve been celebrating travel advisors from coast to coast for this combined special issue of Travel Courier and Canadian Travel Press.

As soon as travel advisors find out they’ve been nominated, one of the first questions I get asked is, “who nominated me?” Well, what makes the Travel Agent Appreciation edition stand out is that all the agents featured are nominated by their industry peers and colleagues — BDMs and supplier partners who work with travel advisors day in and day out.

While we first launched Travel Agent Appreciation in 2016, in 2021 Baxter Media debuted the Travel Agent and Beyond Award, honouring one of the nominees from the Travel Agent Appreciation edition with some extra recognition. This year’s Travel Agent and Beyond Award winner will be announced in the May 22nd edition of Travel Courier.
