Although sports fans can’t watch their home teams play right now — they can travel like athletes do as Air Canada brings its special fleet of Jetz Airbus A319 aircraft in rotation as of June 1.
As part of its ongoing efforts to engage customers and bring forth new and innovative ideas, Air Canada will be using the aircraft, which usually carry sports teams to their next games, on select flights between Toronto – Montreal and Toronto – Ottawa.
Flights will be departing from prime gate locations and begin boarding only 25 minutes before departure. The aircraft features 58 seats, as compared to the 120 seats on the mainline A319s – an exclusive offering providing less waiting time when boarding and deplaning. The spacious cabin configuration provides more comfort and personal space with a recliner seat with a 42-49-inch pitch.
On board WiFi is available for purchase and passengers will receive two complimentary checked bags.
